The two-day spiritual retreat commenced at Straightway Higher Secondary School, Mokokchung on the theme ‘God First ‘Proverbs 3:6 on June 24. The resource persons Dr Yutsung Imchen, Dr Aotemshi, Chairman and Founder, SCMC, Alemla Apong, Founder of Children Evangelism, Meyukumla, Centre for Children Ministry UBS, Sentimenla and Kikarenla encouraged the children “not to go where the world leads but put God First.” A press release received here stated that “healthy spiritual mind will enable a student to be assets to the society. “ During the annual event, all the students from Montessori to Class XII participate and rejuvenate their spiritual lives, it stated.
