Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland, Y Patton, June 27, visited the residence of the late Vijay Rupani, former Chief Minister of Gujarat, in Rajkot to offer his condolences to the bereaved family. During his visit, Y Patton met Anjali Rupani, their son, daughter-in-law, and other family members and relatives. Speaking to the family, Y Patton recalled his personal association with Vijay Rupani and conveyed that the sudden loss of Vijay Rupani in the recent air tragedy has left a deep void. The Deputy Chief Minister offered prayers for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength and comfort to the bereaved family.

The three-day medical camp organised by the Medicity in partnership with the Government of Nagaland in Kohima concluded on June 27. The multi-speciality medical camp saw more than 400 people turning up for a health check-up. The event, set up in association with IDAN, Government of Nagaland; Directorate of Industries and Commerce; and Nagaland Police, sought to bring advanced and accessible health care to the underserved population of Nagaland, stated a press release received here.
Eastern Nagaland People’s Union, Dimapur (ENPUD) held a dedicatory prayer programme for an ambulance donated by MP Supongmeren Jamir at the residence of the ENPUD Treasurer in Aoyimti, Dimapur, on June 28.
The Sunday Catechism School Kohima Village  organised a two  day Recreation programme on June 28 and 29 at Christ the King Church Kohima, under the 2025 Catholic Jubilee theme ‘Pilgrim of Hope.’  A total of 200 students with 15 teachers youth members participated in the events.
