Impur Christian Hospital (ICH) organized a Community Health Care drive at Merangkong Village on March 28. Altogether 106 people including palliative patients were given free medical treatment along with medicines. The team was headed by Dr. Aka Longchar, MS, ICH and Dr. Abigail Rai Medical Officer, ICH.
Department of History, Sao Chang College, Tuensang organised a workshop on “Data collection for History writing” for the BA 6thsemester History Honours students on March 27. Resource person Dr Iris Odyuo, Associate Professor from the Department of History highlighted the importance of data collection, both primary and secondary sources, for reliability and accuracy to construct a comprehensive understanding of the past events, societies and culture in history writing. According to a press release issued by Media Cell, SCC, the workshop was a learning experience which equipped the students with skills and insights for a lifelong learning. All together 31 participants including faculty took part in the workshop.
