A ‘School Safety and Natural Disaster Management’ programme was conducted at GPS, Lengrijan on March 24. Fire personnel from the Dimapur West Fires Station gave information on natural disaster and also demonstrated on handling fire extinguishers. A total of 111 students along with 17 teachers participated in the one-day event. The programme was held under the Nagaland Education Project-The Lighthouse (Nagaland: Enhancing Classroom Teaching and Resources - NECTAR), Department of School Education.

The 1st and 2nd year students of Patkai Christian College’s (Autonomous) Department of Mass Communication held its 4th edition of photography exhibition, under the theme ‘Framing Elements and Beyond’ on March 24. The exhibition held at National Service Scheme Park, Patkai, was inaugurated by Neilevono Vupru, Dean of Social Sciences, PCC (A). The students collaborated with Photography Club Dimapur for the exhibition, with supports from Patio Coffee Eatery, Spicy Corner, Nikamel, TreatMor, Fingerprint, November Sky, Dermato Aesthetic and the department’s alumna, Khakhuli Chishi. All 48 photos displayed at the exhibition were purchased by visitors and patrons.
The 3rd P Khaitan Memorial moot court competition was held in Tinsukia Law College on March 22. NERIM Law College informed that the team representing the College won first prize and also Best Memorial Award for both Appellant and Respondent. The team members were Bhaargabi Gautam (BA.LLB 4th sem), Snigdha Das (LLB 6th sem), and Langpoklakpam Reena Devi (BA.LLB 4th sem).
