The Career Counselling Cell of Baptist College, Kohima in collaboration with the Mavericks Academy held a career counselling programme. Vekhohu Puro, EAC and Vedezo Neinu, SA were the resource persons. The programme ended with a brief information on the courses and facilities available at Mavericks Academy.

 

Observance of Jan Aushadhi Diwas day on March 7 was held at Naga Hospital Authority, Kohima with Special Guest, Neikhozo Soukhrie, Chairperson KMC and at UPHC Seikhazou with special guest, Khrielievi Chüsi, Member. Jan Aushadhi Diwas – making quality medicine available at affordable prices for all, particularly the poor and disadvantaged, through exclusive outlets “Jan Aushadhi Medical Store”, so as to reduce out of pocket expenses in healthcare.
District level DAKSHATA training for health workers was conducted at conference hall, District Hospital (DH), Wokha from March 5 to 7. The resource persons were Dr Benchumi Humtsoe, Medical Officer (Obs & Gynae) DH Wokha and Sorenpeni Lotha, Community Health Officer (CHO), Pongitong Health and Wellness Centre. They took up sessions on quality care in labour room, stages of labour, safe childbirth checklist, monitoring vitals, pantograph, care of mother and newborn immediately after delivery, newborn infections, safe delivery application etc. Practical demonstration on normal delivery, ENBC and newborn resuscitation were also conducted. Medical officers, CHOs, ANMs and staff nurses from various health centres in the district were part of the training. 
ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute, Eastern Regional Station, Kalyani, West Bengal, in collaboration with ICAR-NRC on Mithun, Jharnapani organised a training cum input distribution programme under the NDRINEH Project titled “Improving Livelihood through Livestock and Poultry Farming in Nagaland.” A total of 56 farmers, including 23 males and 33 females, from different villages of Nagaland—Molvom, Jharnapani, Kupuhe, Zujum, and Yimpang—actively participated in the event. 
Logos College, Sovima Village, celebrated its 25th anniversary on March 1 and 2 with a three-service event. The festivities included a felicitation and foundation, thanksgiving, and main celebration. The occasion was graced by Rev Dr Neil Joseph Bernard and guest speaker, and Rokolhou Angami, Chairman of the Board of Directors as special guest. Kevisanuo Paphino, Managing Director, reflected on the college's remarkable journey, sharing its humble beginnings and the perseverance that has led to its growth.
Assam Rifles conducted a Special Medical Camp under Operation Sadbhavana at Razeba Village, Phek with the theme “Building Goodwill and Community Harmony”. It was conducted in collaboration with Primary Health Centre (PHC) Razeba Village. The PHC conducted non communicable screening test by checking random blood sugar and special emphasis was given towards diabetes screening and treatment. The camp benefitted 125 villagers which included 60 Women, 61 Men and 04 Children. 
The Botany Department, Sao Chang College Tuensang in collaboration with KVK, Tuensang organised two-day workshop on ‘Oyster Mushroom Cultivation and its Prospect’ from February 28 and March 1 at the college campus. The resource person was Yanger I Kichu, Farm Manager, KVK, Tuensang. He discussed oyster mushrooms, their production methods, their nutritional and medicinal benefits, handling pests and diseases, value addition, marketing, and career opportunities. The second session began with a demonstration of hands-on training on oyster mushroom cultivation. Queries from the students were resolved by the resource person. A total of 7 Teaching and Non-Teaching and 29 students (BA & B.SC) attended the training programme
The Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) officials along with members of Molungyimsen Village Council and Local Organizing Committee held a consultative meeting for the 5th NSF Federal Assembly to be hosted by AKM at Molungyimsen Village, Mokokchung on April 12, 2025.
Nagaland United Sports Club (NUSC) recently visited the Kohima Orphanage and Destitute Home where the NUSC team engaged with the children through fun activities and motivational talks. During the visit, players shared personal stories of perseverance and hard work.
