Guwahati Eastern Nagaland Students’ Union (GENSU) conducted a social service at Nagaland House, Guwahati which is a project initiated by the union in collaboration with the Nagaland House. This project has been taken up by the GENSU on a yearly basis to help the administration in maintaining clean surrounding thereby also to keep a good relation with the Government of Nagaland at large. The Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland (IRCSN) State Branch visited relief camps at Kangpokpi district headquarter, Manipur on May 17. The IRCSN provided relief materials to the displaced persons (IDPs) in the relief camps. The IRCSN team was led by Abeni TCK, Chairperson, IRCSN and Akhale V Khamo, General Secretary, IRCSN. Relief items like rice, blankets, blanket rugs, thermocol dunlops, soaps, sanitary items, mosquito nets, tarpaulins, clothing, face masks, hygiene kits and soaps were provided.
