Kohima College hosted a farewell ceremony to honour faculty member, Megovono Usou who retired after 35 years of service. During the function speeches were delivered by Dr Vitsosie Vüprü, Principal, Kohima College; C Vezholu Kotso, Assistant Professor, English Department; Khriezenuo Angami, Associate Professor, English Department; Dr Theyiesinuo Keditsu, Assistant Professor Department of English; Paul Achumi, Ministerial Staff, and Vikhonuo Nagi, representing KCSC. In her speech, Usou expressed gratitude for the love and kindness shown to her throughout her tenure. She thanked her colleagues, students, and the college administration for their unwavering support and camaraderie. The ceremony concluded with a performance of ‘His eye is on the sparrow’ by Keduokhrietuo Usou, son of Megovono Usou.

Jubilee Memorial College, Mokokchung bid farewell to the Class of 2024 at Aongza Ki on April 30. The formal session started with songs of memories and a message from Moamongla, B.A 4th semester to the outgoing students. A farewell speech was given by Imlimenla B Lkr, 6th Semester followed by a special message from Molongnenla Pongen, Asst Professor, Department of History. The first session ended with a special prayer for the outgoing students by Monglier, Associate Pastor, MTBA. The informal session included songs, entertainment and dance and satirical acts. From the graduating students, Moaren of 6th Semester was crowned King of JMC and Imlimenla B.Lkr was crowned queen of JMC. The event also has a Jam session featuring DJ Toshi.
The 45th parting social of Kohima Law College (KLC) was held at Red Cross Conference Hall, Kohima on April 30 with Limaakum Jamir, Administrator KLC as guest speaker. The College annual magazine was release by Soni Magh, Principal KLC. The farewell song was presented by the 4th semester of LL.B. The outgoing student shares experiences of their three years stay in the college. 
Modern College, Piphema organised parting social for its outgoing students on May 1. The event was moderated by Pfücüte Arüji and Rachel Thiumai of 4th and 2nd semesters respectively. Pisala V Sangtam of 4th semester delivered the welcome note, 2nd semester presented welcome song, Ricky Das, Asst. General Secretary spoke on behalf of the juniors while a speech on behalf of the outgoing student was delivered by Beyau K of 6th Semester. Pelee Hekha, Managing Director, Modern College encouraged the students to step out of their comfort zone and learn how to face the challenges in life. 
Mount Mary College (MMC), Chümoukedima celebrated the 10th parting social for the outgoing batch of 2021-2024 at Yashipokla Memorial Hall under the theme “Sayonara Senpai” on April 30. Addressing the gathering, Dr C Teeya Imsong, Managing Director, MMC urged the students to have a progressive mindset and cheered them to continue working hard. He encouraged the outgoing students to help contribute to the progress and growth of the college and the society as a whole. A blessing prayer for the outgoing batch was said by Yanger Jamir, College Chaplain cum Counsellor. Mharon J Kikon of B.Com 6th Semester and Lihyeih T. Konyak of B.A 6th Semester gave speech on behalf of the outgoing students. The second session was a fiesta dedicated to the outgoing class of 2024 featuring video compilation, extravaganza by the 2nd and 4th Semester students followed by “Hustle and Bustle” featuring DJ Rhon.
Oriental College, Kohima held its 27th annual parting social for the outgoing B.A 6th Semester and B.Com 6th Semester students on April 30. Gracing the occasion as the special guest, Prof Glenn Thong, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Nagaland University, Kohima Campus Meriema encouraged the students to stay strong. The welcome address was delivered by Dr Khrieriezhiinuo Dzüvichü, Principal, Oriental College, Kohima.
The Salesian College of Higher Education, Dimapur, celebrated Gratitude Day in honour of the outgoing batch of 2024 on May 1. On behalf of the Principal, Fr Maria Anthuvan SDB exhorted the students to uphold the value of hard work and being good citizens to contribute to the development of the nation, a press release stated. Lily, Assistant Professor, English Department spoke on behalf of the teaching faculties while Peter Khing spoke on behalf of the outgoing students. Vijobi Sangtam, College General Secretary also spoke during the function. The day ended with friendly football and basketball matches played between the outgoing students and the college team.
