Divine Connection from Nagaland will be performing at ShiRock 2025 on May 20 at Bakshi Ground, Hungpung, Ukhrul District, Manipur.

ABAM Music Ministry organised two-week Intensive Music Training from May 5 to 18 in Impur. The programme delved into crucial areas such as music theory, music history, conducting, aural skills, and the dynamic interplay between music and theology, equipping participants with valuable knowledge and skills to elevate their musical journey. The resource persons included Tiakumzük, Vice Principal Nagaland Conservatory of Music, Miss Sentijungla, Music Teacher CTC, Dr Akok Amer, Pastor, Impur Baptist Church, and Asenla Longchar, Music Coordinator ABAM. In total, 21 participants from 18 different churches attended the training.
173 Bn CRPF, Dimapur organised a felicitation ceremony for toppers of HSLC and HSSLC Examination 2025, conducted by Nagaland Board of School Education at its Headquarter at Airfield, Dimapur on May 19. The function was attended by 10 toppers of Nagaland Board Examination alongwith their family members and personnel of 173 Bn CRPF. Speaking at the ceremony, Ashok Kumar Yadav, Commandant 173 Bn CRPF motivated the students to continue their hard work in future. Certificates and bags were presented to the toppers during the function followed by brief interaction and light refreshments.

World Hypertension Day was observed under the theme ‘Measure your Blood Pressure Accurately, Control it, Live Longer’ at the Police Baptist Church and Lempong Hostel in Longleng on May 18. DPO Lenpichang delivered an awareness session on hypertension, emphasizing its causes, risks, and the importance of early detection in both Police Church and Lempong Hostel. A hypertension screening was also conducted for attendees. This initiative is part of a month-long campaign (from May 17 to June 16), during which all Health Units under Longleng District are actively participating to raise awareness and promote preventive measures against hypertension among the public.
ABAM Social Concern under Women Ministry organised a 10-day intensive residential training in counselling skills for drug abuse and prevention from May 9 to 19 at Impur. The programme was conducted in an experiential methodology and emphasized counselling skill in the frame work in the aspect of pretreatment motivation, detoxification, peer support from Alcoholic Annonymous (AA), rehabilitation and prevention with a holistic (Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual) perspective. It was conducted by Dr BJ Prashantham, Institute of Counselling Psychology (PIC), Christian Counselling Centre, Vellore, Tamil Nadu. A total of 15 participants from 11 churches attended the training.
The 78Bn CRPF in collaboration with Kohima Forest Division kicked started a weeklong tree plantation drive on May 19 at Zhadima village. Personnel of 78Bn CRPF alongwith 7 other forest department officials under the supervision of Commandant, 78 Bn CRPF, Sechu Zubza kick-off the week long program at the JICA site, Zhadima.
