Zunheboto District Football Association observed Grassroots football Day at Kawoto Futsal ground on the theme “Football for the goals”. The association also used sub theme “Say No to single use plastic” and “our football ground, our responsibility” to mark the day. A short talk on the theme was delivered to the participating school students by Tavinto K. Sumi, General Secretary which was followed by activities by the coaches with the students. Altogether more than 80 students from 5 schools participated at the Grassroots football Day.

The District Administration and SANKALP: District Hub for Empowerment of Women (Mission Shakti), under the aegis of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Mokokchung conducted a flower arrangement workshop for women and girls in the conference hall of Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung. ADC, Mokokchung Chumlamo Humtsoe, encouraged the participants to avail this opportunity and highlighted the various avenues for self employment.
SCK Mokokchung Centre Manager, Imsurenla, spoke on various assistance and facilitation rendered by SCK Mokokchung to aspiring entrepreneurs. The resource persons for the workshop were Sentisen, founder, Grace and Bloom Decor and Sentimenla, Sen’s Art and Craft. 
Department of Environmental Science, Sao Chang College, Tuensang, commemorated International Day for Biological Diversity by organising a special competition titled ‘Sustainable Crafts: Creating with Care’ at Mount Carmel School, Tuensang on May 22. The event encouraged students to creatively express themselves using eco-friendly materials such as bamboo, recycled paper, jute, leaves, and more. Responding promptly to public appeals, the Zunheboto Town Council (ZTC) has undertaken urgent repair and restoration work on a severely damaged and waterlogged section of road at North Point Colony on May 23.
Haizuyile and Vevokho Rüho got Bronze medals in Women -65 Kg and Men-90Kg respectively in Classic Style Alysh at the ongoing Asian Alysh Belt Wrestling Championship 2025 being held at New Delhi.
