Refor Soted, a Class 4 student from Rev Dr Neiliezhu Usou Memorial School (RDNUM School), Kohima emerged the National Topper in the Junior IAS Exam at Prodigy Hunt 2025. RDNUM School Director Neikhrieo Usou was also awarded a special honour for his contribution to education. The Prodigy Brains acknowledged Coordinator Imtinaro Imchen for playing a key role in guiding and mentoring the students in the national level.

North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR) inaugurated its annual STAR (Students Training & Academic Excellence) Programme from May 26 to 28. This three-day orientation was organised for Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) students of the 1st, 3rd, and 5th semesters to formally welcome the new batch and kick-start the academic year.
The Kuki Baptist Association Nagaland Theological Fellowship had its second meet on May 23 at the Association centre, Khaibung, Chumoukedima, Nagaland under the theme ‘Grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ’. Rev H Minlen Singson, Association pastor KBA brought the message. A business session was also held where the house elected new leadership of the fellowship. In the closing program, the Fellowship felicitated 4 new graduates, and a magazine, (compilation of articles from its members) was also dedicated and released.
Food Safety Administration, Kohima Zone conducted four days online licensing & registration camp for Food Business Operators at Phek town with effect from May 20 to 23. The camp was organised in coordination with Phek District Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
