
To celebrate the World Menstrual Hygiene Day (WMHD) on May 28, with the theme ‘Making menstruation a normal fact of life by 2030,’’ an awareness program on Menstruation Hygiene Management was conducted in Milon School, Padumpukri and Livingstone International School, Thahekhu Dimapur by Community Health Initiative (CHI). Around 4300 Free Sanitary pads and Awareness Pamphlets were distributed to women and girls in some colonies of three districts of Dimapur, Chumoukedima and Nuiland to create awareness.
A cycle rally was conducted by the training battalion, ARTC&S on May 28 as part of World Environment Day.
P Bashangmongba Chang, Minister of Housing and Mechanical visited the staff quarter, Nagaland House, Dwarka, on May 27. The Minister was accompanied by the OSD to CM; EE, PWD (Housing); and JE, PWD (Housing) to review the early completion of pending works and relocating the staff. During discussion, the contractors reportedly agreed to complete the remaining work at the earliest.
