Jubilee Memorial College, Mokokchung observed the Vigilance Awareness Week on November 3 at the college premises. Dr Imtiwati Jamir, Principal, JMC gave the welcome speech and a short introduction about the programme was given by I Narola Jamir, Post Master, Nagaland Division. The Principal read out the pledge while the students took the oath to be vigilant and work towards the eradication of corruption in India.
The Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakam (RBSK) team Phek comprising Dr Chikhopalu Vese, Medical Officer, Neibanuo, GNM, Vekupolu, GNM, and Rukhevinuo, FHW screened a total of 648 children in eight schools and two Anganwadi Centres (AWCs) as part of its monthly activities from October 18 to 27. During the screening, cases with dental conditions, cleft up and palate, vitamin deficiencies etc., were referred to District Hospital Phek for further treatment.  Health talks on adolescence and proper nutrition were also imparted and medicines were provided to the children.
