
Jalukie Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) dedicated one waiting shed at Kehoi Village under AR CAP 2020-21. The waiting shed will ease out the inconveniences faced by the villagers for commuting to Dimapur or Jalukie as the area is prone to heavy rain fall from April to October and the village did not have any waiting shed near the road side. An enforcement activity was carried out by the DTCC tobacco control unit Mokokchung under National Tobacco Control programme (NTCP) along with law enforcers from Police Station-1 Mokokchung, representatives from Watsü Mungdang and Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) on November 24. A press release from the Office of the Chief Medical Officers Office stated that tobacco products were seized from shops near educational institutions and were penalised under section 6(b) of COPTA Act 2003.
