The training was organised with the objective to create awareness on horticultural avenues for income generation as well as to provide technical support matters related to productiontechnology of important horticulture crops in the region. The training was delivered by technical experts from CIH and Department of Horticulture. Altogether, 54 farmers participated and interacted with the experts during the training programme. The Indian Dental Association (IDA) Nagaland state branch Mokokchung unit held its denture free camp in observation of International Day of Older Persons at Süngratsü village on October 4. The health camp was conducted under the leadership of Mokokchung district representative, Dr Kenzie Theja along with Dentists from both government and private practice within Mokokchung district. During the health camp, 26 Dentures were delivered, a few extractions were done and free medicines were distributed.The Teachers and students (Class 1 and 2) of GPS Kacharigaon (Phevima) undertook a field trip to Zoological Park, Dimapur on September 27 under the Nagaland Education Project, The Lighthouse (NECTAR).A sensitization and awareness programme on the schemes offered by Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), GoI was organised at the District Industries Center (DIC) in Chozuba on October 4. The resource persons for the training include Andreas Ezung, Under Secretary from the Department of Economics & Statistics, and Khinyi Woch, a retired Senior Accounts Officer from the Treasury & Accounts Department. This training aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of the officers and staff of the Water Resources Department, Nagaland, in service and accounts matters, contributing to their professional growth and proficiency, a DIPR report stated.
