The MGM Higher Secondary School, Dimapur conducted a science exhibition on the theme ‘science and technology for a sustainable future’ in the school ground on October 8. A total of 33 teams participated presented innovative models during the exhibition. MGM HSS, Vice President, Rev Fr Giju George delivered the keynote address. The competition started with a short speech from resource person Sentimenla, District Welfare Officer, Niuland. Lina Achumi from Government Higher Secondary School, Niuland won the first prize. Louis Pame from Shepherd Montessori High School and Nalto Zhimo from Shepherd Montessori High School won 2nd and 3rd prize respectively.
Seminar on ‘Management and Entrepreneurship’ was held at Mount Carmel Higher Secondary School, Kohima on October 3. The resource person was Dr Ditalak Mpanme, Assistant Professor, Department of Management, Nagaland University, Kohima Campus. The seminar was attended by the teachers and students of Classes 8 to 12.
