A flagging off program of departmental vehicles of Directorate of Industries & Commerce was held at the office premises on September 3. Advisor Industries & Commerce Department Hekani Jakhalu along with Director Industries & Commerce P. Tokugha Sema flagged off a Staff Bus, Boleros, Maruti Ecco and a Bolero pickup. The Department informed that the vehicles will be utilized by the officers at the Directorate and District Offices for the effective implementation of the department’s works, schemes, projects etc for the benefit of the general public. Resource person, Metba K Phom, Coach at the Sania Mirza Tennis Academy (SMTA), Dubai, spoke on his introduction to Tennis and his journey as a Tennis Coach. Metba spoke on the hardships and challenges he underwent in order to pursue his goal. He encouraged the students to follow their passion and not give in to obstacles created by conventional society.
