Repair and maintenance of approach road starting from below Woodland Higher Secondary School to Seven Home School, Zunheboto town was undertaken on October 31. Ghovishe Kiba, State Executive, BJP Nagaland volunteered to repair the approach road on the request of South Point West Colony, Council members, GBs and citizens, stated a press release issued by Media Cell, BJP 35 A/C Zunheboto, Mandal. Earlier, the main road leading to Executive Engineer, Zunheboto Electrical Division office was also repaired in October.

Dhumketu Puppet Theatre organized 7th National puppet festival workshop and seminar supported by the Ministry of Culture Government of India in collaboration with St Mary’s Hr Sec School, Dimapur, students on November 1. Dilip Mondal, Director of Dhumketu Puppet Theatre from West Bengal conducted the programme.
Nagaland Adolescent Girls Club (NAGC) conducted a monthly club meeting on ‘Needs and Wants’ at Thinuovicha Memorial Higher Secondary School on November 2. A brief introduction on the Nagaland Adolescent Girls Club was given by Juliana Medom, Supervisor AGC, NSSWB. The other resource persons were Manlee Manphuro, Programme Assistant NAGC and Khriezotuolie Chase, Programme Assistant NAGC.

The 37th battalion of BSF stationed at Chedema, Kohima celebrated its 35th Unit Raising Day on November 1. A cultural programme was organized by the Battalion to mark its 35 years journey. Officiating commandant of 37th Battalion, Sunil Kumar Mishra, 21/C presided over the programme by lighting candles. Many BSF retirees and civilian attended the function. Mishra said that the battalion was raised on November 1, 1988 and since then, it have served in various parts of the country with dedication, dignity, sincerity and pride for the nation. 
The Commissioner's office organized a farewell programme for outgoing Commissioner Nagaland, Rovilatuo Mor IAS at Commissioner's Office, Kohima on October 31. Rovilatuo Mor in his address said that those situations had brought him closer to the people and different communities at large. He said that the best years in service are during the junior stage and encouraged the upcoming young officers to grab the best opportunity to give maximum contribution. Others who spoke were Chief Secretary, J Alam; Home Commissioner, and incoming Commissioner of Nagaland, Abhijit Sinha; DGP, T John Longkumer, Joint Commissioner (Hq), L Jamithung Lotha, Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Shanavas C IAS; Commandant Village Guards, Mongkoyanchu Chang; President, Nagaland Dobashis Association; President, Nagaland GBs Federation. The Department of Horticulture accorded a warm send off to the outgoing Director, Dr R Elithung Lotha, on his retirement after 35 years of service on November 1. In his farewell speech, the outgoing Director urged the officers and staff to continue rendering the yeoman services to the people especially the farmers and requested them to go to the farmers instead of having the farmers come looking for us. The special guest, Mhathung Yanthan, Advisor for Horticulture asserted that the officers and staff are fortunate to be serving in a Department that caters to the need of the people especially the farmers who are the most deprived and downtrodden section of the society. 
St Xavier College, Jalukie NCC (National Cadet Corps) organized one-day training camp at the college campus on October 29. It was conducted by Nagaland NCC Ex-Cadet Association. CTO Viketuonuo, and 7 Nagaland NCC Ex-Cadet Association executives attended the training along with the College NCC cadets.

Agro Servicing Centre (ASC) established by the Department of Agriculture under Sub Mission on Agriculture Mechanization (SMAM) was inaugurated at Naginimora by Menlom Phom, EAC Naginimora, on October 31. It was inaugurated in the presence of SDAO Naginimora, farmers and officials from Konyak Union, KNSK, and students union.

The Department of Health & family Welfare organised a farewell programme for outgoing Director, Dr T Wabang at IDSP Conference Hall on November 1. Dr T Wabang in his farewell speech expressed that all aspect of Health is equally important but specially requested the officers and doctors to focus on Mental Health Programme. DoHFW, Principal Director, Dr K Vikato Kinimi also spoke during the function.
