Leo Club of Dimapur conducted an orientation cum workshop for its members. Two prominent speakers from District 322d, Kamal Sharma, Past District President and Sumit Sanjay Jaiswal, Vice District President of Leo District 322d led the orientation programme. The youth brigade of the club were enlightened about the evolution and working of Leo Clubs.

Xuvihe Colony Council along with Sumi Totimi Hoho Xuvihe Colony and youth conducted raid in shops of the colony and seized alcohol and other intoxicants and destroyed them on July 10. The colony council has warned that if anyone is found selling banned substance strict action will be taken against them even to the extent of expulsion from the colony.

ATMA Dimapur (Niuland block) conducted joint visit to maize fields in Niuland, Hovukhu and Nikhekhu villages on July 7 during which stem borer infestations were observed in some fields. The management practices against the pest were highlighted to the farmers by Dr. Lawrence Kithan, Scientist, AICRP, SASRD, Medziphema. The visits were conducted for farmers who received seeds from the Department of Agriculture through SDAO, Niuland and also for others who planted local varieties.
