The associations of Nagaland IPS officers and Nagaland Police Service (NPS) met the Deputy Chief Minister, Y Patton at his official residence in Kohima and contributed towards the CM’s Relief Fund on August 12 and 13 respectively. The IPS Association donated Rs 2,31,000, while the NPS Association donated Rs 2,00,000, informed a press release from Media Cell, Deputy CM office.
Christina Memorial Hr. Sec. School observed National Library Day, 2018 at the school auditorium on August 13. Two students, Emilo of Class-4 and Soborjan of Class-6, presented recitation. A story teaching was delivered by Meera of Class-6. Ngamjong of Class-9 spoke on his love for books, while the principal spoke on the significance of the day. To mark the day, best readers were also rewarded.
