The Jalukie Student Union Nagaland in collaboration with Jalukie Town Police Personnel and Addl. Deputy Commissioner, Jalukie Staff conducted the first phase of screening of Inner Line Permit (ILP) on August 21. The JSU executive conveyed gratitude to the Police personnel and the administration staff for the co-operation rendered.
 
Dzüvürü Colony Youth Organisation (DVYO), Kohima conducted a surprise checking of Inner Line Permit (ILP) in its jurisdiction on August 19. A press release issued by its President Meyiesa Phinyo informed that during the surprise checking, many invalid documents were found and sent to nearest police station. The Organisation has further warned house owners to verify ILP before allotting house for rent.
 
Mokokchung Law College, Corpus Committee, Convener handed monetary assistance to the College Principal in the presence of AKM officials and others at the college library on August 20. The Corpus Committee is a wing under the Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) to generate funds to run the lone Law College in Mokokchung, a press release stated. The committee will provide monetary assistance every month to aid the salaries of the staff and teaching faculties, the release also said. Earlier, the seed money of the corpus fund was generated by AKM through “We Care Concert 2016.”
