Orientation on Measles-Rubella Vaccination Campaign was conducted at EBRC, Ahthibung for teachers under Ahthibung Educational Block on August 17. Dr Azo, Medical Officer, Primary Health Centre Ahthibung, and Amen Kipgen, BPM were the resource persons. Core group for MR campaign at the block level was also formed during the programme, which was attended by 52 teachers.
 
A review meeting of Noklak Block Task Force on Measles-Rubella campaign was held on August 19 at Noklak ADC’s residence under the chairmanship of ADC Noklak Theodore Yanthan. According to a DIPR report, SMO Noklak Dr Victor highlighted about the Measles-Rubella campaign and the functions of task force members. He informed that the M-R Vaccination Campaign (MRVC) is for children aged 9 months to 15 years.

An awareness camp on Childline 1098 was held in Kichutip Youth Fellowship, Mokokchung on August 19.
 
To review the teaching learning progress and assess learning outcome, MGM Higher Secondary School, Dimapur (Class 1 to 8) held a Parent-Teacher meeting on August 14 at the school auditorium. The principal explained the importance of PTA for proper assessment of the child, informed a press release from the school. Headmaster B Paul also gave guidelines to parents to monitor their children’s studies and discipline at home. The principal informed there will be similar meetings after the midterm examination of class 11 and 12 in the third week of September.
