Khehoshe H Yeptho, NDPP Zunheboto Region president launched the Agri & Allied Committee with Kiheto Phuleshe as Convenor and Er Khukishe Yeptho as Secretary along with 11 members representing all the seven constituencies of the district. This was informed in a press release from Media Cell, NDPP Zunheboto Region.
ATMA Longleng, Tamlu block inaugurated a Pineapple Farm School in Kangching village recently. Methung Phom was appointed as the farm school teacher. Block Technology Manager Moasunep explained the concept of farm school and the role of the farm school teacher during the inauguration programme. He also stressed on the economic benefits of pineapple farming. Demonstration on the package of practices on pineapple farming was shown to the farmers by the farm school teacher.
