Chieswema Assam Rifles Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted a free medical camp on October 15 at Chiechama Village,Chiephobozou Sub Division, Kohima district. The camp was led by Chief Medical Officer Comdt Ch Saleo Mao along with civil doctors from PHC, Chiechama. A total of 115 patients availed free treatment. Basic knowledge on health education, precautions on common viral diseases and importance of hygiene and sanitation was also imparted to the villagers.
 
The Wangkhao Government College, Mon under the theme of ‘Skill Development’ organized an exhibition cum sales day on October 12 in the college campus. Dr. Libenthung Ngullie, the Principal of the College emphasized on the vital role students can play and the need to acquire skills as an important tools towards character building and livelihood. The event was marked by sales of different items ranging from handicrafts to eatables.
 
ATMA Longleng block organized a demonstration programme at Lingtak village on October 17. The programme was chaired by Kitila ATM Longleng block and the resource person was C Amei Phom AI Department of Agriculture Longleng. The topic of the programme was Package of practices for cultivation of Chilli and Carrot. Altogether 11 farmers attended the programme.
