The NSS Unit GHSS Bhandari has installed 50 numbers of waste-bin in Bhandari Town on November 30 under the theme ‘keep your Town clean.’ The programme was inaugurated by Sunil Thakur, principal GHSS Bhandari.
A cultural troupe performing during the visit of the 15th Finance Commission led by Chairman, Nand Kishore Singh to Tuophema Tourist Village on November 29. Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio and a host of dignitaries accompanied the team. Public reception of the team was held at Amphitheatre, Tuophema Bawe. During the cultural programme, Tuophema Cultural Troupe, Rengma Cultural Troupe and Lazami Cultural Troupe presented folk songs and dances. VDB Secretary Tuophema, Krutsolie Zumu welcomed the guests. Advisor for IPR, SCERT & VG, Toshi Wungtung accompanied by EE CAWD Sungti Amer inspected the VG rest house at Thizama on November 27. The Advisor expressed his acknowledgment to the VG officials for the order maintained along with the ongoing efforts of the VG contingents and brass band participants for the Statehood on December 1, 2018.
