Immanuel Music Academy (IMA), Zunheboto organized Advent Christmas Concert on December 5 at Immanuel Higher Secondary School premises featuring various artistes. Colonel Vikram S. pal, Commanding Officer of 32 AR was the special invitee for the evening and gave Christmas greetings. During the concert, Niza Lejo, a local singing group from Zunheboto town released a Christmas song titled ‘Susu Lono Jisu Punu (Jesus was born in winter).’ The song was dedicated and released by Inaholi H. Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidhalaya (KGBV), Noklak for girls sponsored by SSA Nagaland initiated an exposure visit to the state capital for the top 10 students who excelled academically. “The students took much benefit from the visit to the Hornbill festival, Civil Secretariat, Nagaland Public Service Commission, SSA Office, State Museum, Education Office, World War Cemetery, SC College and many other important places in Kohima,” stated KGBV Noklak in a press release. The annual general meeting of Dimapur District PET Association was held at Jotsoma Community hall, Kuda Village on December 8. The meeting was presided over by the President, Thepfungunyu Solo. The Members deliberated on issues relating to physical education and its emerging issues. A new action plan was developed for the coming financial year April 2019-March 2020. K. Cornerstone Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, organized an exposure trip to Delhi, Shimla, Kullu, Manali and Agra from November 21 to 30. Along with the teacher incharges Tosangla (History Department) and Lanuklaba (Travel and Tourism Department), 22 students of class 11 and 12 were a part of the excursion. Students visited many historical sites which included India Gate (Delhi), Hadimba Temple (Manali), Taj Mahal (Agra), etc. They also got to experience one of the longest tunnels by road in India.
