Commissioner, Central Goods and Services Tax, Dimapur, organized a tree plantation drive at Jakhama Village under Kohima District on July 13. The department in collaboration with Jakha Eco Club, CRC Jakhama planted 500 cherry saplings as a part of Swachhata Action Plan 2019-20 which is being taken up by the department under its annual plan of Swachh Bharat Mission. The new team of Konyak Union branch Tobu along with TASU paid an introductory visit on July 13 to the neighboring villages under Tuensang District namely Sangsangnyu, Maksha, Hakchang and Tuensang Village, and interacted with the village council leaders. The team later met with the Chang Khulei Setshang (Chang Tribal council) at Tuensang HQ. (Photo Courtesy: KU branch, Tobu)Children Department, New Tesen Baptist Church held its Vacation Bible Camp (VBC) under the theme “I Aram Ze Hung lie,” from July 12 to 14. Around 193 children attended the camp where the children were enriched through the Bible lessons by teachers. A vocal workshop was also given by Kehungyile. The camp culminated with a competition service, which included Bible storytelling, solo, action song and skit. Haisuigong, Sunday school teacher led the competition service.
