The Chief Minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio called on the Governor of Nagaland PB Acharya on July 18 at Raj Bhavan Kohima. The Chief Minister apprised Governor Acharya on the recently consultative meeting in regard to the Register of Indigenous Inhabitants of Nagaland (RIIN) and other matters relating to the State of Nagaland. A CII delegation led by C Merenla, Chairperson, CII Nagaland Council & MD, Fine Windows Company met with Temjen Toy, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Nagaland and discussed issues pertaining to industry in Nagaland besides exploring areas of collaboration in areas like Agriculture, Horticulture, Healthcare, Ease of Doing Business, Tourism, Skill Development and Organic cultivation. The CII delegation also held meeting with R Ramakrishnan, IAS; Principal Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland and discussed areas of collaboration in the Healthcare sector in Nagaland which includes skilling, affordable healthcare and quality of healthcare services.The RD Block-Phek successfully organised an orientation programme on documentation for the proper maintenance of 7 registers and other documents relating to MGNREGS from July 16 to 17, at DRDA conference, Phek with Neikhote Theke and Nyitso Therie as resource persons.
