As part of the 100 day programme announced by the PDA Government, Director of Industries & Commerce, I Bendangliba launched the Aadhaar based Biometric Attendance System (BAS) on May 29 at the Directorate of Industries & Commerce, Kohima in the presence of Department of Information Technology & Communication (IT&C) officials led by Joint Director, Sabou Yashu. This is the first Aadhaar based-BAS, launched by a Department under the PDA’s 100 days activities as informed during the launching programme by the IT&C Department. (DIPR Photo)
 
A farewell programme in honour of retiring officers Chonthungo Kikon, Secretary, Home (Prison) and Kehrieselie, Secretary (Police & Political) was held on May 31 at the Office Chamber of the Home Commissioner, Nagaland. The programme was marked by short speeches from Rovilatuo Mor, IAS Secretary, Home (GAB), Printing & Stationary/ NSDMA, S.R Saranavan, IPS, Special Secretary, Home (Police/Political) and Ramakrishnan, IAS Home Commissioner. Short speeches were also given by the outgoing officers.
 
MGMHSS legal literacy club members were felicitated on May 30 for their outstanding awareness and reach out programmes by Principal and Head Master. The school Principal appreciated the team leaders Enanlyou and Rani for leading different events and weekly awareness programmes conducted in the school every Wednesdays.
 
Director of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship has signed a MoU with training partners for implementing PMKVY -2.0 CSS Scheme for skilling Naga youths.
