Bethesda Hr. Sec. School observed a science exhibition cum Fete Day on the theme "Scientific Solution for Challenges Life" on October 10. The exhibition was inaugurated by School Chairman, Rev Moses Murry with his wife school administrator, Esther Murry. The exhibitors were from classes LKG to 12 with around 150 models. Exhibits were covered on the academic subjects-Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, Astronomy and Geography. A Few games, craft items and flower arrangements were also exhibited.
 
Participants of 4th phase sanitation drive conducted by the Phek Town Chakhesang Students’ Union (PTCSU) alongwith the Government Middle School and Christian Home School, Phek on October 6. PTCSU president Vechihu Khamo encouraged the students to lead a clean and a healthy environment. More than 300 students and 18 teachers turned up in this drive.
 
Battalions of 7 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) contributed Rs 2,00,000 towards the Nagaland Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF).
   
A thanksgiving prayer meeting was organized by the faculty and staff of the Christina Memorial Higher Secondary School, Dimapur on October 10 to honor the Chief Patron, O Alem on being nominated for the “Mahatma Gandhi Samman” by the NRI Association.
 
The Yorübami Students’ Organization Kohima (YSOK) celebrated its 25th Anniversary at the Regional Centre of Excellence for Music & Performing Arts (RCEMPA), Jotsoma on October 6 with Dr Velu-o Shijo, Additional Director, SIRD as the special guest.
