Teachers of Imsutemjen Memorial Higher Secondary School Mokokchung presenting a special performance to entertain the students as the school celebrated its Children’s Day celebration on November 14. As part of celebrating the day, various prize distributions were also done including ‘Student of the Year’ that was awarded to Rukshar of class-9, ‘Best Discipline’ of the year awarded to Shalu of class-7 (junior) and Cheyongdangla of class 11 (senior).
Mokokchung District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) for the month of November was held on November 15. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB Mokokchung, Sachin Jaiswal, IAS. The meeting began with the review of the last meeting minutes followed by recommendation for approval of Registration of Societies namely Lenjem Health Care Society and Meyiset Rubber Producer Society Tzudikong town Tuli. Agriculture Technology Management technology (ATMA) Peren held a training and demonstration programme on Aloe Vera soap making for various SHGs at Kejanglwa village on November 10. Keyimaa, a successful SHG promoted by ATMA from Heningkunglwa village demonstrated the whole process of Aloe vera soap making. Block Convenor, Mapeuheile Ndang, AO spoke during the programme which was attended by 32 women.
