Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS inaugurated Sanitary Napkin Incinerator at District Hospital Mon on February 22 in the premises of RDC building. ADC & Administrator of Mon Town Council, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS had donated this Sanitary Napkin Incinerator as part of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) campaign. The 20th batch of Jubilee Memorial School sits for the ICSE X & XII final exams which commenced from 15 and 22 February 2019 respectively. Jubilee Memorial School is the only ICSE affiliated school in Nagaland. All together 66 Class X students and 32 Class XII students are sitting for the final exams. Under the supervision of Moa Sangtam, Chief Executive Officer, Dimapur Municipal Council, under took the initiative of clearing out the logged drainage at SM Colony, Vilhume Colony and behind Civil Hospital. Moa Sangtam advised the public of Dimapur in general that everyone has to work with determination and plastic waste should not be thrown in drainage. He suggested that cleanliness drive should continue till the mindset of the people is adapted to the habit of keeping the area clean. 
Free anti-rabies vaccination for pets was carried out at Animal Concern Hospital, Nagagaon Colony, Signal, Dimapur on February 23. Animal Concern Hospital has been organizing such programs for the last 15 years, as part of the Annual Social Responsibility Programme where more than hundred pets were vaccinated.
