Nagaland: NOA invites children’s participation in Olympic Day Run 2025

Total prize pool of over Rs 1 lakh

Kohima, June 11 (MExN): The Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) has invited children aged 8 to 12 years to participate in the Olympic Day Run, scheduled for June 23 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.

With a total prize pool of over Rs 1 lakh, the race will be held under the global theme, “Move, Learn, Discover – Together for a Better World,” to celebrate Olympic Day, the NOA stated in a release.

The reporting time on race day is 8:00 AM.

The event aims to promote the Olympic values of movement, learning, and discovery through sport and community engagement. It is open to young runners across four age-based race categories:

A. 50 meters – Boys & Girls (Born between 22/06/2015 – 22/06/2016)
B. 80 meters – Boys & Girls (Born between 22/06/2014 – 22/06/2015)
C. 80 meters – Boys & Girls (Born between 22/06/2013 – 22/06/2014)
D. 100 meters – Boys & Girls (Born between 22/06/2012 – 22/06/2013)

Registration Information
According to the NOA, the last date for registration is June 17, and it is available both online and offline. Online registration can be done by scanning the QR code or visiting NOA’s official social media handles. Offline registration forms are available at the NOA Office, Kohima. The NOA encouraged parents and guardians to register their children early and support them in being part of the celebration. The Olympic Day Run, it added, is more than just a race—it is a celebration of youth, unity, health, and the Olympic spirit.
