
Kohima, May 19 (DIPR): Every year May 21 is observed as Anti-Terrorism Day with the objective to wean away the youth from terrorism and the cult of violence. This year May 21 falls on Sunday which is a holiday for state government offices. In order to organise the Anti-Terrorism Day in a befitting manner, the state government has decided to observe the Day on May 20 where a pledge taking ceremony will also be organised in Secretariat Conference Hall at 1:30 pm.
All the officers and staff of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat have therefore been requested to make it convenient to participate in the Pledge taking ceremony.
Further, all government offices, public sector undertakings and other public institutions in the state have been requested to observe the pledge as notified by the Additional Chief Secretary & Home Commissioner Nagaland, Temjen Toy, IAS on May 19.
