Nagaland observes World Sunday School Day 2019

Dimapur, November 3 (MExN): The state of Nagaland observed World Sunday School Day 2019 on November 3. The first Sunday of the Month of November is celebrated throughout the world as Sunday School Day.

 

Sunday School Day 2019KLBC: Kohima Liangmai Baptist Church (KLBC) celebrated the World Sunday School at their church premises. Kohima Liangmai Batist Church, pastor, N. Silubo and Liangmai Baptist Association (LBA) Nagaland, President N. Silubo Zeliang spoke during the occasion. The programme was chaired by Sunday School Superintendent, Phungbeniu Kaurintta. Sunday school children enthralled the congregation by singing, reading bible. 

 

LBCD: Lotha Baptist Church Diphupar (LBCD) celebrated the World Sunday School Day in the church premises. LBCD women pastor, Yanpvulo Kenchung was the speaker for the occasion. Marking the day, Sunday school children presented special numbers, Bible recitation, choreography, skit etc and enthralled the church congregation. Assistant Superintendent Sunday School wing, Rhonbeni Odyuo led the church service while Associate Pastor, Wopansao Ovung pronounced the benediction. 

 

NBC Chümoukedima: World Sunday School Day was celebrated at Nepali Baptist Church (NBC) Chümoukedima with Pastor Robert Aley as speaker. During the event, Sunday school students of the church performed skits, choreography, and Bible verse recitation.

 

ZTSBC: The Zunheboto Town Sumi Baptist Church (ZTSBC) SBAK- Aizuto organised World Sunday School Day cum Children's Day programme. It begun with praise and worship by NP/Kbto Sunday School with words of encouragement by Rev. Dr. Daniel Chishi, Pastor ZTSBC.  


Special Songs were presented by the Youth Choir, Project Colony Prayer Fellowship and NP/Kbto Prayer Fellowship. The programme was then followed by entertaining items performed by Sunday School students from different sectors. 


The programme chaired by Newtoli Chophy Office assistant ZTSBC and Tolika, SST New Colony was attended by more than 3700 people.
