KOHIMA, DECEMBER 5 (MExN): A case has been registered at Cyber Crime Police Station, PHQ Nagaland regarding a post published in “The Patriotic Nagas” Facebook Page wherein certain objectionable remarks were made against Dr SC Jamir and the Ao women in general.
A post by Nagaland Police on X platform @ DGP_Nagaland informed that during the course of investigation, the person who published the post was identified and arrested from Delhi on November 30 by Nagaland Police and brought back to Nagaland and is presently in judicial custody.
Further investigation is in progress and collection of forensic evidence/expert opinion is underway. Nagaland Police would like to reiterate that the case will be brought to a logical conclusion as per the relevant provision of the law, the post read. In this connection, the public have been requested to maintain harmony in the interest of law and order in the state.
