In line with the regional meeting on Drug Trafficking and National Security in Guwahati with the Home Minister Amit Shah today, Nagaland Police destroyed the seized Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) worth approximately Rs 35.98 lakh.
The destruction was done at SP Office Kohima simultaneously, alongwith the regional meet on drug trafficking and national security under the leadership of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, informed, Additional SP of Kohima Police Vitoshe K Sumi at the destruction site.
He said to commemorate and to join with the rest of the northeastern states, on behalf of the Nagaland Police has joined the act of destruction of seized items.
The drugs were destroyed in the presence of district administration, church, colony representatives and the media fraternity.
