The Nagaland Police today informed that “candidates with tattoos can apply” in its ongoing recruitment for 1176 Constable (General Duty) posts with one condition.
“The final decision on what degree of tattooing will be acceptable will rest with the Department,” the State Police stated in a ‘Recruitment Update’ posted on its social media.
Meanwhile, as of 5 PM on October 8, a total of 4680 candidates had registered on the dedicated Nagaland Police registration portal: https://nagalandpolicerecruitment.in
Out of those, 3720 aspirants have paid the examination fee of Rs 300, the update added.
It further noted that a number of candidates who have registered have not paid the examination fee and urged them to pay it on or before the last day of application if they intend to appear for the recruitment.
Applications are open online from October 6 (12 noon) to November 7 (3 PM) only through the registration portal.
