Nagaland Police Taekwondo team wins 4 medals in Open Indian Int’l Taekwondo Championship

Kohima, June 5 (MExN): The Nagaland Police Taekwondo Team won 4 medals (two gold and 2 silver medals) in the 2nd Open Indian International Taekwondo Championship 2023 held at Bangalore, Koramangala Indoor Stadium from June 3 and 4. 

A total of 4 police personnel took part in the championship led by ABSI Seyievilie Nakhro, DGP Sports Team Taekwondo Coach. 
For men's category, Tsutanmong took the gold for under 63 kg, while Merichan Kikon and Mongkai Phom won silver medal for under 54 kg and under 74 kg. 

In women's category, Antimonyu Chang bagged the gold medal for under 62 kg.The team also went on to win the Best Disciplined Team.
