Kohima, February 16 (MExN): The Nagaland Police has urged the public to cooperate in the implementation of the Tenant Registration App aimed at streamlining the submission and registration of tenants and landlords through OTP-based verification.
In a statement, the police emphasised that diligent and timely registration of all tenants by landlords and tenants would aid the State government and law enforcement agencies in the effective detection of anti-social elements and illegal immigrants, and in taking preventive measures to ensure the safety and well-being of citizens.
Nagaland Police appealed to all concerned citizens, including landlords and tenants, to make use of the Tenant Registration App and assist enforcement agencies in their efforts to provide a safer society.
The app can be downloaded from the official Nagaland Police website (police.nagaland.gov.in), and it will soon be available on the Google Play Store. House owners may also obtain the app or APK file from their respective police stations.
Citizens may approach their nearest police station for any assistance related to the Tenant Registration App.
The police clarified that no charges or fees are required to be paid by anyone for registration or for using the app.
