Kohima, August 26 (MExN): Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, NERPSIP (North Eastern Region Power System Improvement Project), Kohima provided PPE Kit, mask, gloves, sanitizing and other necessary items to the District Administration, Kohima on August 25.
LA Sharma, GM, POWERGRID, NERPSIP, Nagaland and HK Chutia, Manager, POWERGRID, Kohima handed over the items to SDO (Civil), DC office, Kohima, R Daniel Angami as a part of the corporation's CSR initiative to fight against COVID-19. Other District officials and POWERGRID employees were present during this program.
Under the various relief activities to mitigate those impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, the corporation has also provided ration, food items to the stranded labourers during lockdown period in Kohima.
