Minister for Planning & Coordination Neiba Kronu today said that against the backlog of Rs. 863.94 crore, the state government has received Rs. 226.80 crore during 2018-19 under Special Plan Assistance (SPA).
No fund was received during 2019-20, the minister said this while replying to MLA Muthingnyuba Sangtam on the floor of the House.
The amount of Rs. 226.80 crore was sub-allocated to various departments as sanctioned by Ministry of Finance.
The project against the amount included; Construction of 20 MVA 66/11KV S/S at Sovima with associated transmission line- Rs. 2.90 crore, Tsutsung HEP- Mokokchung- Rs. 2.71 crore, construction of additional 25 MVA 132/33 at S/S Kohima- Rs. 7.51 crore, Directorate of School Education, Phase- I Rs. 3.57 crore, establishment of State Sericulture Farmers’ Training Centre, Dimapur- Rs. 1.12 crore, 13th IR Battalion, Yachang, Mokokchung – Rs. 77.79 crore, 12th IR Battalion, Chingtok, Longleng- Rs. 82.06 crore, 10th NAP (IR) Bn HQ Zhadima- Rs. 46.47 crore and Installation of Astro Turf at IG Stadium Kohima- Rs. 2.68 crore.
