Nagaland: Regularise our service by Sept 17: ANATG 2015 batch to state govt

DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 7 (MExN): The All Nagaland Ad Hoc Teachers’ Group (ANATG) 2015 batch today served an ultimatum to the Nagaland State Principal Secretary of School Education demanding regularization of 1166 Adhoc teachers by September 17.

The ultimatum cautioned that failure to do so would compel the teachers to resume their previously suspended hunger strike.

The ANATG recalled that the government had earlier expressed inability to regularize their service till the disposal of the WP (c) NO. 145 (K)/ 2017. It however noted that the same was disposed off by the High Court in a judgment dated August 3. Following this, it informed that the ANATG has been making repeated calls for the government to regularize their services.

“However, our pleas and appeals have fallen on deaf ears, or has been curtained with too many excuses even up to the extent of the Government Advocates’ inabilities of interpreting the judgment,” it lamented.

It further stated that the ANATG-2015 batch would “no more acknowledge any other Letter of Directives except our service regularization.”
