Nagaland reports 12 new COVID cases, 15 recoveries

Dimapur, October 27 (MExN): Nagaland on Wednesday reported 12 new COVID-19 cases with a sample positivity rate of 1.83%. According to an update by the State Health and Family Welfare department, the new cases were reported from Dimapur (8), Kohima (1), Mokokchung (1) and Phek (2) The total caseload as on October 27 was 31759. Meanwhile, 15 recoveries on Wednesday took the recovery tally to 29822. The recoveries were reported from Dimapur (10), Kohima (2), Longleng (2) and Phek (1). With this, the active cases in Nagaland stood at 222, out of which, 21 are currently admitted in COVID hospitals while 182 are under home isolation. The State did not report any new casualties in the past 24 hours, and the death toll remained at 666, as per the department’s daily update.
