
Dimapur, October 26 (MExN): Nagaland on Tuesday reported 21 new COVID-19 cases with a sample positivity rate of 2.42%. According to an update by the State Health and Family Welfare department, the new cases were reported from Dimapur (14), Kohima (4) and Wokha (3). The total caseload as on October 26 was 31747. Meanwhile, 39 recoveries on Tuesday took the recovery tally to 39807. With this, the active cases in Nagaland stood at 225, out of which, 24 are currently admitted in COVID hospitals while 186 are under home isolation. The State did not report any new casualties in the past 24 hours, and the death toll remained at 666, as per the department’s update.
