Nagaland reports 56 new COVID-19 cases

Kohima, February 12 (PTI) Nagaland's COVID-19 tally on Saturday rose to 35,713 as 56 more people tested positive for the infection, 21 more than the previous day, a health official said.

The COVID-19 death toll remained at 750 with no fatality reported during the last 24 hours, he said.

Nagaland now has 503 active COVID-19 cases, while 32,450 people have recovered from the disease and 1,470 have migrated to other states, the official said.

The COVID-19 recovery rate in the state now is 92.25 percent.

The state has so far tested 4.52 lakh samples for COVID-19.

More than 14.44 lakh vaccine doses have been administered to eligible beneficiaries in the state, the official added.
