Salam Lamyanba Luwang, a PhD research scholar from Nagaland University was awarded the Best Agricultural Engineer during FutureAg-2025, the 11th National Conference.

Zunheboto, September 25 (MExN): Salam Lamyanba Luwang, a PhD research scholar from Nagaland University's Department of Agricultural Engineering & Technology, has been awarded the Best Agricultural Engineer.
The award was presented during FutureAg-2025, the 11th National Conference on ‘Advancing Food & Farming for Sustainable Future,’ held from September 9-10 at Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur.
Luwang's research focuses on soil and water conservation engineering, specifically entitled “Assessing the impact and control of soil erosion in hilly terrain of Nagaland, India.” He is supervised by Prof Prabhakar Sharma, Dept of Agricultural Engineering & Technology of Nagaland University.
The conference was organised by the Department of Agriculture of Suresh Gyan Vihar University in collaboration with Just Agriculture Communications Group and ISAHRD Society.
