Nagaland: Reshuffle in several top govt posts

Kohima, September 6 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland has issued orders for the transfer and posting of several senior administrative officers in a move aimed at improving public service delivery. The changes, effective immediately, include key appointments in various departments.

R. Ramakrishnan, IAS, who has been serving as the Development Commissioner and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (P&AR), has been relieved of his duties as Development Commissioner. He will, however, continue to serve as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and the P&AR.

Anoop Khinchi, IAS, previously holding the position of Commissioner and Secretary in the P&AR department, has been transferred to the Health and Family Welfare (H&FW) department as the new Commissioner and Secretary.

In another significant shift, I. Kitto Zhimomi, IRS, who was the Commissioner and Secretary of Tourism, has been reassigned as Commissioner and Secretary for the Planning and Transformation department. His post in the tourism department will be filled by Dr. G. Hukugha Sema, IRS, who was previously the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the H&FW department.
