DIMAPUR, AUGUST 16 (MExN): The Nagaland RMSA Teachers Association 2016 has served a 7-day ultimatum to the Nagaland State Government to release their 4 month pending salary.
The 7-day ultimatum will begin from August 17 onwards. On the failure of the state government to meet their demands within the stipulated time, the RMSA teachers cautioned that it would be compelled to call for total boycott of classes from August 24 onwards.
In a separate notification, the RMSA teachers said it has come to the knowledge of the association’s executive that an unofficial Office Memorandum notifying the reduction of RMSA teachers’ salary is being circulated in social media.
Terming the OM as an “unscrupulous scheme with evil designs to fool and confuse the aggrieved teachers,” the association urged its members not to believe in the veracity of such notification.
