The deplorable state of roads under NH 29 and the lack of footpath or bus stand at the City Bus parking at PR Hill in Kohima has created a nuisance to pedestrians. The poor maintenance of this Highway is a threat to road safety not just for vehicles but pedestrians too. The NH-29 is maintained by the Border Roads Organization (BRO).
