Dimapur, September 13 (MExN): A total cash prize of Rs.1,15,000 has been set for the Tokuho Awomi Memorial All Nagaland State Open Chess Championship 2018 which is scheduled to be held from October 2-4 at Tourist Lodge Dimapur, a release from its Organising Secretary Mughaho Awomi informed. The tournament will be organised by the Sumi Chess Association Nagaland under the aegis of the Nagaland Chess Association. Competitive events, under-17 and under-14 categories have been asked to produce birth certificate registered within 1 year of birth as per AICF & FIDE norms. Students have also been asked to come with their school uniform during the first and last day of the championship. Non-Nagas players who reside in Nagaland have also been asked to produce Government office ID card/registered certificate from their colony/area chairman/GBs respectively. Interested persons have been asked to pay entry fee of Rs 1000 for open category and Rs 500 for under categories at Tourist Lodge Dimapur on or before October 1.
